today's event

Okay after about a year (or less) of being on hiatus from the praise and worship band in my church, I'd finally decided to resume my post again.

I was the backup singer for today.

I don't know why but every single time i quit I will find myself coming back to where I began, that is, the worship team.

I always get this unexplainable bliss every time I sing and lead worship.
It just feels, good. Very good.

Even though my singing is as crappy as a tone-deaf senior citizen.

But I don't really care. Because that is not why I am up on the stage for.
I'm worshipping Him.

I'm just glad today's worship session was great. Andrea did an amazing job leading, the congregation was very involved as well, and the best part is that God is awesome.

what happened these few days

Well teachers' day was last Friday. I'm just glad all of them liked our gifts, even though it was of little value and cost.

And I went to a christian concert last night. Overall it was not what I'd expected. I thought it was something like a typical Hillsong's concert.
Who knew.

1) If only it was in pure english, and the translator would stop translating every single word that Micah said, even when he wanted no more smoke on the stage, they even translated that."
2) Plenty of screaming and loud music does not necessarily make good music, sir. No offence.
3) Screaming is annoying, especially when you are screaming directly into the microphone. My ears are still numb. Everything I hear is fuzzy and blurry right now.

Gosh the wait for this year's mid term break was awful!
Tedious, tardy and long.
And painful as well.
But I'm just glad it's all over!

Seriously one more week of schooling and I've could've gone bonkers.

Wait. What was that? Exams right after the holidays? Another 6 chapters of Biology!
Golly when will this ever end!

But the good news is, all the hard work that I'd put into my exams this time, seems to be quite good for now!
Well don't really know about my maths paper cause it has always sucked. But I'd just gotten my chemistry papers this morning (and I am not showing off, not even trying to) and guess what? Finally! An A-! After 3 dreadful terms of exam since last year have I finally gotten an A for my chemistry.

It definitely felt good.

And I have no idea what is all the hype about with my bro & sis about football. What was yesterday's match so exciting about? What was it again? Was it world cup already? Sorry no offense to anyone really I respect that game as much as how I respect you all but really I do not understand that game at all!

I did try watching it once. Started yawning after the first 5 minutes. Was sleeping by 10.

Sorry if anyone is offended but please don't take it personally. If only that game was more exciting!

It's kinda like my view on golfs. I fell asleep once on the bench while at a game of golf. Not miniature golf mind you.

3 consecutive nights of pure solid nightmares. this is getting scarier. I'll be waking up more exhausted than when i went off to bed.

the good thing

the good thing about waking up at 4 am to study is that

1) You have all the peace and quiet you need to study.

2) You get to memorize everything and it'll still be fresh in your memory after a few hours.

and the best part?

3) You get to witness the sunrise.

i cannot think of a better way to start your day than a breathtaking view of the scenery.

i loove my life.

Okay does it not annoy you when some people tends to always compares. Every single thing.
1) Never EVER compare Form 5 with Form 6 okay. It's not the same. Don't even think it is. "Ya right as if it is difficult just work a bit harder and study a bit harder la. I don't think there is much difference between SPM and STPM." Yeah right I'll like to see you try that.
2) Don't even compare A-level with Form 6 okay because there is nothing to compare about. A level is NOTHING. YES NOTHING compared to Form 6. IT's not even the same. Equally difficult? Not even close. I'm gonna just be blatant and say it out, A levels are for wimps, sissies taking the easy way out.(No offense to anyone else. Really.)

Not convinced? I've got 11 other classmates going through the same thing as well. Go ask them.

strength

Through this journey there will definitely be tough times. There will be a few bumps and traps in which sometimes, it will make you fall. Sometimes you may just trip, and sometimes you may fall hard, in which you will have the urge to give up.

It's okay to fall. It's okay to fail. It's okay to face trials and tribulations. Everyone does. It's life.

And it makes it more important that when you fall, fall in these difficult times, you must find the strength to stand right back up again.

Okay so you fell. Your life turned miserable. So what? Big deal. Stand right back up and keep walking. Learn from the mistakes. Learn from the tribulations. Learn how to stay strong in times of difficulties.

Because when you learn from it, you'll be surprise at how much you will mature and grow from all your past mistakes.

Why complain? Why whine? Ya think that when you complain life is gonna get better? The problem is gonna fix itselfs? Dream on. Stop complaining. Use the energy to fix the issue.

When you fall, stand right back up again.

It's because even though those people will acknowledge your presence but then they would not necessarily like or want to talk to you.

Like first of all, why is that dude peeping into the next door's toilet for? 

secondly, what in the world are those two thinking? Youth nowadays. Them showing some PDAs in school is already quite disgusting and now this? Do they think this is cool? The boy has been suspended and the girl is pregnant. Smooth move. Both better get charged in juvy.

okay so here comes the end of another week. 

How time flies.

So yeah. Mid year exam coming up. Finals are also approaching. This is scary. heh.

Anyway so I went to a friend's house for dinner last night. Big house mansion. Awesome people. Good food. To sum it all up? Perfect Saturday night. =D

Gosh I've not been abreast with all my fav tv shows ever since school started. This is bad.

i love LA. i really do. just looking at the photos of LA makes me swoon. belair, beverly hills, hollywood, everything. the palm trees, the nightlife, the sun, the beaches, and of course, being one of the most stunning places to shop, all of it seems so awesome and perfect. well yea I do have my sun and beaches here in M'sia, only if it wasn't this humid and the beaches were more accessible. and prettier.

would love to go there someday.

Let me brief to you what will I be doing every weekdays from now on.

Monday - Biology topical tests. Every Monday. 

Everyday except Tuesday - Chemistry topical tests. 

To think that we are only halfway through the journey to the battlefield, wait scratch that. NOT even halfway through. We are still relatively far away and tribulations are already appearing. Talk about agony.

If the journey to the battlefield is already so painful, I wouldn't even dare to think about the battle itself.

How much more do we have to take just for this.

just hold on. it's just tests. no big deal.

oh and there's this hype in facebook where people starts to make their own "How Much Do You know [name]?" quiz. LOL finally I've decided to make one as well, just for the sake of having fun. 

I got surprising results! but no matter. those results doesn't reflect our friendship. Yeah kudos to those who got full marks (MELI!!! AWESOME!) but still, i find it funny how some people will be upset just because one of their close friend fails that meaningless quiz. Big deal. Wouldn't that be a good excuse just to spend more time together? 

Those scores doesn't really matter.

Just acknowledge me as how I would to you.

That would be perfect for me.

it's nice to be able to finally rest and relax abit after a tired week. =)

and my tutoring class started yesterday. Giving 2 of my friends chemistry tuition. lol the money earned would definitely come in handy in future.

a few goals that I have set for myself this year:

1) No more fast foods. (eg: KFC, McDonalds)

2) No more junk foods & soft drinks

3) To eat my 5 a day

4) to switch to wholemeal or wheat-grain products

5) exercise even more 

just to be able to live healthier.
